From my drawings and your suggestions the bell tower turned out great. I cannot imagine any improvements.

The weather vane that I had (with the longer support rod you supplied) fits perfectly and looks just right on our garage. The bell tower is visible from a side view and is a perfect complement to our farm house style architecture.

We constructed the tower bell rope to be pulled from inside the garage. It works perfectly.

The contractor was not familiar with cupolas or bell towers, so we taught him a thing or two. He too was impressed how the job turned out.
